Reagan Popularity Sags With Farmers in Iowa

President Reagan’s popularity among Iowa farmers has dropped 11 points in the last two months, but his overall approval rating among all Iowans remains near 50%, according to a poll published Monday in the Des Moines Register.
Only 31% of the state’s farmers now approve of the job the President is doing, while 52% disapprove of his performance, the poll found.
