UCLA Law Student Wins $10,000 Prize

Peter C. Kelley, a third-year law student at UCLA, has won the $10,000 first-place award in the annual Shidler Grant essay competition in real estate entrepreneurship.
His grant was awarded for a dissertation on “An Innovative Approach for the Highly Leveraged Acquisition of Income Property.” Ralph W. Cram, a candidate for a master’s degree in real estate appraisal at the University of Wisconsin, won the $5,000 Shidler award.
