A $2.8-million, 82,000-square-foot Gottschalk’s department store will be the anchor tenant in San Luis Obispo’s Central Coast Plaza, the first enclosed shopping mall to be built in San Luis Obispo County.
The $40-million mixed-use mall is under construction at U.S. 101 and Madonna Road and is scheduled to be completed Oct. 31. The 273,000-square-foot mall is a development of Trojan Enterprises, Glendora.
Both the mall and the department store were designed by Millard Archuleta AIA, Los Angeles and Bakersfield.
Included in the complex is a Park Suite Hotel, also designed by the Millard Archuleta firm.
