Bush’s Mission to Jordan
Vice President Bush’s so-called diplomatic mission to the Middle East was nothing but one big photo opportunity, and it clearly backfired, serving only to reveal his incredible incompetence and ignorance.
Apparently, from pre-planning to “talks” with King Hussein, the whole thing was an absurd fiasco.
The idea of suggesting that the King of Jordan borrow helicopters from Israel is just too much. With “diplomacy” like that, the world would be lucky to survive a Bush presidency. No wonder Hassan of Morocco wouldn’t see him.
But I hope Bush wins the Republican nomination; I think it’s time to see a Democrat in the White House.
