Sara Lee offered to buy the rest of Nicholas Kiwi.

The Chicago food and consumer products conglomerate said it offered to pay $130 million for the 74% share of Nicholas Kiwi Australasia Ltd. that it does not already own. Sara Lee bought all of Nicholas Kiwi’s operations outside Australia and New Zealand two years ago for $327 million. The company said its offer to buy the remainder of the maker of Kiwi shoe polish was made in a filing with the Australian Foreign Investment Review Board on Aug. 15.
