Workers OK Contract With Division of FMC

FRIDLEY, Minn. —
A 27-day strike against FMC Corp.’s Northern Ordnance division ended when workers ratified a new three-year contract, the union said.
About 1,400 employees represented by the United Auto Workers began returning to their weapons plant jobs Sunday night. Union members voted, 824 to 308, on Saturday to ratify the new pact.
