Israeli Industrialist’s Trip to China Reported

TEL AVIV —
The chairman of Israel’s largest military-industrial firm, the government-owned Israel Aircraft Industries, is visiting China in the latest sign of a warming, unofficial relationship with Peking, the Haaretz newspaper reported Tuesday.
It said the business trip by Yosef Singer was disclosed by unnamed officials at the Haifa Technion technical institute, of which he is president.
