Linebacker Darnell Williams and offensive lineman Bryan Howard, both seniors who started for the University of Kansas football team last season, are among four players declared ineligible, school officials said.
Also ineligible are backup quarterback Robby Santos, a junior who transferred from Fresno City College, and Derek Berry, a junior defensive back.
The university’s sports information would not say why the players were declared ineligible.
