Austrian Finds There’s No Asylum From Taxes

MUNICH, West Germany —
An Austrian businessman fed up with paying 60% tax on his income turned up at the West German border Friday and asked for political asylum, police said.
The Austrian, who was not named, went home after police convinced him he would be no better off in West Germany, a spokesman said.
