Icon Stolen in Honduras

SUYAPA, Honduras — A priceless antique statue of the Virgin of Suyapa, Honduras’ patron saint, was stolen from its niche in a chapel of a Roman Catholic Church in this village, nine miles east of Tegucigalpa, Bishop Jaime Brufau said Tuesday. Police throughout the country were alerted.
