Hughes agreed to buy Manville’s headquarters.
The aerospace firm said it will lease back to Manville about half of Manville’s 720,000-square-foot Denver headquarters building and use the rest to expand or transfer Hughes Aircraft operations. The agreement must be approved by the boards of both companies as well as by a federal bankruptcy judge in New York, where Manville is the subject of bankruptcy proceedings.
