A ruling was delayed in the Hunt case.

U.S. District Judge Barefoot Sanders said he will decide today whether to order the bankruptcy case filed by the Hunt brothers transferred to Dallas from New Orleans. Sanders heard three hours of arguments by lawyers for the Hunts, who want the case left in New Orleans, and for 23 banks, who have been sued in Dallas by the Hunts for $15 billion. The banks call the New Orleans bankruptcy filing an effort to create confusion, but the Hunts said they filed the petition there because most of the assets in the bankrupt oil company are in Louisiana.
