Reliance Steel & Aluminum purchased Valex Corp.

Terms were not disclosed for Los Angeles-based Reliance’s purchase of Valex, a Ventura manufacturer of stainless steel components for electronic, pharmaceutical and other applications. Reliance President William T. Gimbel said Valex will continue under its established name as a wholly owned subsidiary with Robert L. Rains continuing as Valex’s president.
