UC Irvine Women Split Volleyball Matches

The UC Irvine women’s volleyball team split its first two matches in the Villanova tournament in suburban Philadelphia Friday, losing to Providence ,then beating Villanova in the second match.

Providence defeated UCI, 15-10, 15-12, 15-11. The Anteaters beat Villanova, 15-11, 15-4, 15-10. Dana Parker led UCI against Villanova with six kills and three service aces.

UCI meets Penn State and Pittsburgh today in the final round of play.
