Tribble Denies Supplying Bias With Cocaine

WASHINGTON —
Brian Lee Tribble, a friend of Len Bias’ who was indicted on drug charges in connection with the Maryland basketball player’s cocaine-induced death in June, said in an interview televised Friday that he did not supply the cocaine that killed Bias.
In the first broadcast interview of Tribble since Bias’ death, Tribble was asked by WRC-TV whether he supplied the cocaine. “That’s absolutely not true,” Tribble replied.
