Whittaker will buy back stock at $34 per share.
Whittaker said it will pay $34 per share for all of the nearly 4.6 million shares tendered under the company’s stock repurchase offer, which is part of a corporate restructuring. Whittaker previously said it would buy up to 4 million of its 12.9 million outstanding common shares, inviting shareholders to tender stock at prices from $30 to $34 per share. Whittaker’s board separately authorized the repurchase of up to 1 million company shares on the open market.
