8 More Crash Victims Identified
The Los Angeles County coroner’s office identified eight more victims of the Aug. 31 collision between an Aeromexico DC-9 and a light airplane, bringing the total of officially confirmed deaths to 52.
Coroner’s spokesman Bill Gold said Cuahtemoc Cronkhite, 5, Juanita Logan, 22, and Laura Rickard, 29, were killed on the ground.
On board the jetliner were: Frederick Rush, 33, of Rockville Center, N.Y.; Georgia Winlack, 67, of Bakersfield, and Patricia Trillo Lopez, 27; Laura Dlisa LaVilla Ballesteros, 23, and Alma Gabriela Sanchez, 23, all of Mexico City.
Gold said LaVilla Ballesteros, Trillo Lopez and Sanchez were stewardesses on the Aeromexico flight.
