Coast Guard Seeks Boat to Run Tests
Coast Guard investigators in Long Beach said they would like to borrow someone’s boat to conduct stability tests in an effort to learn the cause of a recent fatal accident involving the same type of craft. The boat needed is a Sunliner 28 outdrive with flying bridge manufactured by the now-defunct F & M Marine Co.
Anyone owning such a vessel is asked to contact Lt. Cmdr. Thomas Jenkins or Lt. Leim Slein at (213) 590-2371.
