Rep. Robert E. Badham (R-Newport Beach) returned from a four-day trip to Central America with rave reviews for the opposition forces trying to overthrow the government of Nicaragua.
The contras , said Badham, are “doing an amazing job.”
Echoing the words of President Reagan and other contra supporters, Badham said the Soviet Union and Cuba are attempting to export their Communist doctrine to Central America.
