Tom Harkin (D-Iowa) told farmers from at least five states at a tractorcade and rally in Omaha. “If we export everything and get nothing for it, what good does it do us?” Harkin said, criticizing the 1985 farm bill, which seeks to restore U.S. dominance in international agricultural markets by cutting prices.
