Nearly 70% of the respondents in a new poll for Time magazine said they would favor a drug testing program in their company, while 75% said drug use in the nation is a serious problem. But only 35% thought drug abuse was a serious problem in their community. In the poll, done by Yankelovich, Clancy, Shulmann between Sept. 8 and 10, 81% said they would submit to drug tests, while 17% said they would not. And 63% of respondents between the ages of 18 and 34 said that people close to them had tried cocaine.
