Car of Slain Studio City Merchant Found
Los Angeles police have found a car belonging to the owner of a Studio City poster shop who was found shot to death Sept. 3.
The car, owned by Marshall E. Brevetz, was found Sunday in the Highland Park area, said Detective J. Herrera. He declined to give other details of the investigation.
Investigators have said they are examining the possibility that drugs were involved in the killings of Brevetz, 47, and Gary Abrams, 36, an artist employed by Brevetz.
Brevetz’s body was found on a grassy slope in the El Sereno section of Los Angeles. Abrams’ body was discovered in a field in Fontana. Both had been shot in execution style, police said.
