The musical arrangements and master tapes of works of the late Benny Goodman have been bequeathed to the Yale University Music Library, the school announced. The university will license and receive revenues from approximately 25 hours of performances by the jazz clarinetist that have never been released commercially. The bequest includes about 1,000 handwritten scores produced for Goodman by well-known arrangers, about 750 audio tapes, photographs and other memorabilia.
