Attorneys for radical politician Lyndon H. LaRouche, faced with a court order that he disclose financial information, posted a bond of more than a quarter of a million dollars in Washington to effectively end collection proceedings for a judgment won by NBC. U.S. District Judge Claude Hilton stayed proceedings by the television network aimed at discovering details of LaRouche’s finances. LaRouche had said he was unable to pay the judgment, won last year, because he had no money.
