AND WAIT, THERE’S MORE: Julian Lennon may be taking a hiatus from performing after a disappointing reception for his latest record. But the family will be represented in the stores next month with a new collection of John Lennon songs, including a host of unreleased tracks from mid-’70s recording sessions. Due out on Capitol Records Oct. 10, the compilation is titled “Menlove Ave.,” after the name of the Liverpool street where Lennon was born. It features two new Lennon songs, “Here We Go Again” and “Rock ‘n Roll People,” as well as unreleased covers of “Angel Baby,” “My Baby Left Me” and “To Know Her Is to Love Her,” all produced by Phil Spector. . . . Meanwhile, Rhino Records has put together a Golden Archives series of greatest-hits packages, including collections from the Everly Brothers, the Standells, Love and Ritchie Valens.
