Missile Ship Bunker Hill Commissioned in Boston

BOSTON — The Navy on Saturday commissioned the guided-missile cruiser Bunker Hill, which it calls the most advanced warship in the world, as about 10,000 people crowded the city’s Charlestown section to watch. Navy Lt. Cmdr. Bill Heard said the 567-foot cruiser will be based in San Diego with a crew of 410.
