Firms Seeking Capital to Meet With Investors

The latest in an ongoing series of meetings designed to bring together investors and small companies looking for capital will be held Sept. 30 at Chapman College in Orange.

The Venture Capital Forum, co-sponsored by the private college and the Orange County Venture Forum, will give local entrepreneurs the opportunity to pitch their business plans to an audience of potential investors, according to David Krajanowski, a member of the forum’s board of advisers,

He said that four businesses in the health care and biotech industries have been chosen to present their plans and pleas for funding at the session, which will be held in the college’s Waltmar Theatre from 7 to 9 a.m.
