Valley Federal Savings & Loan Assn. appointed Christine Moorman to the newly created position of vice president and sales development manager.

Moorman began her career at the Van Nuys-based thrift as a teller in 1978. She was most recently service coordinator, in charge of initiating the personal banking program, which provides special services to large depositors.
