Lattice Semiconductor sued a Silicon Valley firm.

Share

Lattice, which was named in a patent infringement complaint by Monolithic Memories earlier this month, filed a $300-million antitrust suit against the Santa Clara, Calif., semiconductor manufacturer. Lattice claimed that Monolithic’s patent infringement suit was brought for the specific purpose of destroying competition from Lattice and not for vindicating rights under the patent. In addition, the Lattice suit charges that the MMI patent was secured by concealing known prior art and that the patent is being abused in violation of antitrust laws.
