Non-Voters

Share

Soliciting citizens to vote is a waste of time, money and effort. After a brief employment as a solicitor I discovered and was disgusted by the apathy shown by Americans toward their voting privilege.

I was harassed by the men, and as a woman, I was disappointed by the women. Women seemed to want to avoid anything that involved politics, including their right to vote.

The citizens who did take an interest were already registered. Forty-six percent of the eligible voters choose not to vote and are doing America a big favor. People who don’t care to register are ones who don’t know or care about issues. So why waste valuable time and money encouraging them to vote?
