Alpha Micro Reduces Losses in 2nd Quarter
Alpha Micro said Friday that net losses for its fiscal 1987 second quarter, ended Aug. 24, were $257,000, contrasted with a net loss of $556,000 for the same period in fiscal 1986. Revenues during the quarter fell 7% to $11.5 million, compared to $12.4 million for the year-earlier period.
For the first half of fiscal 1987, the Santa Ana computer maker said, its net loss was $555,000, an improvement from the $1.4-million loss reported for a year earlier. Six-month revenues dropped 7% to $22.9 million, from $24.7 million.
