The U.S. War on Drugs
The most dangerous use of drugs in American history occurred in the House of Representatives. In total disregard of the latest report from the National Institute on Drug Abuse showing drug use to be on the decline, 392 legislators allowed themselves to be stampeded to the far right in a mad rush toward a police state.
Hopefully, the Senate will recognize this red herring for what it is--an attack on the Constitution.
Will your senator fall victim to election-year peer pressure and allow drug phobia to numb his mind and morals? Please, Mr. Senator--just say “no.”
