Brisk winds and overcast skies halted for the third day a test flight of the experimental plane Voyager, again delaying the pilots’ efforts to circumnavigate the Earth without refueling. Pilots Dick Rutan and Jeane Yeager had planned a dawn test flight to determine whether earlier overloading problems have been solved. “People who know about the weather have said the stuff hanging over us probably will be gone by Monday,” said Nell Rutan, sister of Dick Rutan. The pilots hope to circle the world in a nonstop, 12-day flight, starting early this week.
