Ex-WAC Gets Legion Post

PORTLAND, Ore. — A former Women’s Army Corps dental technician has become the first woman commander of the 25,000-member American Legion Department of Oregon. Patsy Nestor, 54, of Bend, an 11-year legion veteran, served in the WACs from 1951 to 1953.
