Nakasone’s Remarks About Americans

So the prime minister of Japan has taken it upon himself to make derogatory statements regarding minorities in the United States.

How arrogant. Perhaps Nakasone needs to be reminded that “minorities” made up part of the combat force that defeated Japan during World War II, after their sneak attack on Parl Harbor.

As a highly successful minority working in a supervisory capacity, I am insulted by Nakasone’s attitude and I intend to communicate that in my own small way by replacing my Nissan and Toyota automobiles (whose combined value is around $32,000) with American- made cars.

I would urge all minorities to voice their displeasure the same way. Perhaps with a million or so unsold Japanese autos, Nakasone will get the message.

I personally will never knowingly purchase Sony, Sanyo, Nissan, Toyota or any product made in Japan again. Ever.
