Stan Delaplane . . . on Rarotonga Sept. 21 makes me wonder if he’s ever been there. And to say that “No movie company sets up cameras in the Cook Islands” further exposes his ignorance. Recently one of the cable TV networks ran a movie, “The Silent One,” I believe. It was filmed in Aitutaki by a New Zealand company. Mayhap Stan spent too much time in that “raunchy little village bar.” To quote Stan again: “I tell you what Rarotonga needs is a new script writer. We’ve got to do something about that.” Damn, he said that well.
