A Bahamian whose boat was damaged in a storm survived on rainwater, raw fish and two cans of beer for six weeks until fishermen spotted him in the Atlantic. Nelson McIntosh, 27, of Shrub Key, Bahamas, had lost 100 pounds and weighed about 80 pounds when rescued, said Dr. Dale R. Lackey, an anesthesiologist who spotted the man about 100 miles northeast of Savannah, Ga. McIntosh was admitted to Charleston (S.C.) County Hospital, where he was being treated for malnutrition, dehydration and hypothermia.
