Iran Cleric’s Grandson Reported Killed in Iraq

TEHRAN —
A grandson of the Ayatollah Hussein Ali Montazeri, the designated successor to Iran’s spiritual leader, the Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, has been killed in fighting at the Iranian-occupied Iraqi port of Al Faw, military sources said Tuesday.
Yasser Rostami, 18, a student who went to the front about six months ago as a basij (irregular volunteer), was killed by mortar shrapnel last week.
