Chris Evert Lloyd denied published reports that her 7 1/2-year marriage to John Lloyd is over.
Two English tabloid newspapers, the Sun and the Daily Express, along with the New York Post, reported that friends of the couple confirmed the Lloyds have split for good and are communicating through their respective managers.
However, Bob Kain, agent for the Lloyds, told the Press Association, Britain’s domestic news agency, that he had spoken to Mrs. Lloyd and that the reports are incorrect. Two years ago, the couple separated for several months but later reunited.
