President Reagan has nominated Lawrence J. White to be a member of the Federal Home Loan Bank Board.
White was director and chief economist in the economic policy office of the Justice Department’s antitrust division from 1982 until 1983. Since 1984, he has been professor of economics at New York University’s graduate school of business administration.
If confirmed by the Senate, White will succeed Mary A. Grigsby.
