Emulex Net for Quarter Is $1.57 Million, Up 9%

Emulex Corp., a Costa Mesa-based manufacturer of computer products, reported net income of $1.57 million for its fiscal 1987 first quarter ended Sept. 28, up 9% from $1.44 million. Revenues for the quarter were $25 million, up 2% from $24.4 million.
Emulex Chairman Fred B. Cox said the increased sales came even though the company’s first quarter sales are hampered by a slack summer period in Europe.
