A man who allegedly gave away a girl, believed to be his 5-year-old daughter, so that she could live a better life, is being sought, San Bernardino County sheriff’s deputies said. Lisa Jensen was given to a Chino couple, but was placed in county custody in early August when the couple tried to adopt her. Gordon Jensen, believed to be her father, is wanted for investigation of child molestation and child desertion, Sheriff’s Detective Cliff Harris said. Lisa, now living in a foster home in San Bernardino, came to the attention of authorities when a Chino woman contacted sheriff’s deputies about adopting her. The Chino woman, whose name was withheld, said her parents had brought Lisa from Northern California, where the girl had been living with Jensen, Harris said.
