Temple City : Arbitration in School Talks

Share

The Board of Education will agree to allow contractual differences with teachers to be settled through binding arbitration when negotiations continue on Oct. 31 after a three-month deadlock, according to Temple City Unified School District Supt. Wesley Bosson.

Although teachers have requested a 9% pay hike and the board has offered 1%, both sides have indicated a willingness to compromise.

The teachers, who have been working without a contract since schools opened Sept. 1, are represented by the California Teachers Assn.
