A fund-raiser for political extremist Lyndon H. LaRouche Jr. was arrested on fraud and other charges stemming from $95,000 in loans obtained from an elderly woman in a Missouri nursing home. Michael Billington, 31, was arrested at his home in Leesburg, Va., soon after his return from Boston, where he entered a not-guilty plea to 10 counts of wire fraud. He was among 10 named in a 117-count indictment that alleges $1 million was obtained through unauthorized credit card charges by LaRouche fund-raisers.
