BB-Gun Maker Must Pay Boy $17.5 Million

FLINT, Mich. — A BB-gun manufacturer has been ordered to pay $17.5 million to a 7-year-old boy who suffered irreversible brain damage when another child shot him four years ago.
A Genesee County jury Tuesday awarded the boy the sum from Daisy Manufacturing Co. of Rogers, Ark., to pay for his care, his court-appointed conservator said.
