A Letter to Nancy
Jerry Hulse’s “A letter to Nancy” reminded me of the classic, “Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus,” and is just as much on target in dealing with the uncertain feelings of the 15-year-old student, Nancy, toward travel safety. I applaud the manner in which Jerry handled the timely subject of travel safety, which has been of great concern to those planning overseas travel. As he so aptly points out, life offers no guarantees.
