Fake Dynamite Gets School in a Lather

SWISSVALE, Pa. —
A bomb scare became a soap opera at the Dickson Elementary School.
After a maintenance worker found a box of dynamite-shaped bars marked “TNT” in the school’s repair shop Monday, authorities evacuated the building and sent 460 pupils home.
A bomb squad was called, but it discovered that the bars were “TNT” soap, a product manufactured in the 1930s.
