It’s time to put away Halloween costumes and decorations and get on with the activity that intrigues collectors: browsing through the thousands of items that will be offered at antique shows this weekend.

Le Bon Marche--The “best of everything” bazaar, organized by the Museum Council of the Newport Harbor Art Museum, today 10 a.m.-7 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m.-5 p.m., featuring new merchandise plus rare specialties from 20 Southland antique dealers. Exhibits include furniture, jewelry, porcelain, crystal and other items from early eras. Admission is $2; children 12 and under free. Antiques Expo--Antiques from the United States and abroad are among the wares of 116 dealers in this big show. Building No. 10, Orange County Fairgrounds, 88 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa. “Festival of Dolls”--There will be dolls of all descriptions, some dating back to the 1800s, plus miniatures and toys at this show in Buena Park Mall, Stanton and La Palma avenues, Buena Park, today 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Dolls and accessories on two levels of the mall. Free admission and parking.

The Glendale Show--This show of antiques and collectibles includes silver, glassware, pottery, European items, jewelry, primitives, bronzes and table settings. More than 100 exhibitors will be showing their stocks. Sunday 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Glendale Civic Auditorium, 1401 N. Verdugo Road, Glendale. Admission is $2 for adults; children under 16 free.
