Construction of the $12-million La Quinta Medical/Commercial Plaza, a 101,000-square-foot mixed-use project in La Quinta, is under way.
The project, at Desert Club Drive and Calle Tampico, will include a 23,000-square-foot medical building and a 41,000-square-foot structure that will provide office, retail and restaurant space. Landmark Land Co. will occupy a 24,000-square-foot office building on the site, and a planned 14,000-square-foot structure will likely house a restaurant or lending institution.
The project is being developed by a California limited partnership known as La Quinta Medical/Commercial Plaza Ltd. Architect is Peter Givas of Sacramento’s Ogren, Juarez and Givas. Contractor is NWS, a subsidiary of National Medical Enterprises. Occupancy is expected Sept. 1, 1987.
