Adolph Coors Co. of Golden, Colo., reported...
Adolph Coors Co. of Golden, Colo., reported record beer shipments and increased sales and income for the third quarter of fiscal 1986. Earnings benefited from higher volume and improved performance at most subsidiary operations, especially Golden Recycle Co., a spokesman said. However, Coors Porcelain Co.’s sales continue to reflect the downturn in high-tech industries, the spokesman added. Coors Energy Co. was impacted by lower prices for oil and natural gas. The company said beer sales showed improvement in nearly all of the base market states. Sales in recent expansion areas of New England and Michigan also continued to be strong, the spokesman said.
